Blasting machine BART-1
BART-1 blasting machine is high capacity hand cranked unit that requires no batteries. The cranking action not only generates the main charge for blasting but it will also deliver a small control current for line testing. A built in line tester checks the detonator line resistance to identify short circuits, breaks in the blasting line, or overloaded circuits before you attempted to blast. This remarkable technology virtually eliminates misfires caused by detonator wiring problems, which is one of the leading causes of blast related injuries.
The BART-1 is a compact, light weight unit that comes with a solid aluminum case. This tightly sealed outer casing exceeds all NEMA standards and is rated at IP65 under the international standard IEC 65029. This means the blasting machine case is splash proof and dust proof. It can be used safely even in more challenging environments.
The BART-1 blasting machine has temperature compensating circuits to facilitate cold weather operation, and a safety feature that automatically drains the blast capacitor when the Line-Test switch is turned on.
