Portable falling weight deflectometer INSPECTOR-2
Falling weight deflectometer INSPECTOR-2 is a portable device to estimate the bearing capacity and compaction of the ground either with or without the binding material. The device may be used in road building, building of bridges, houses, quays etc.

INSPECTOR-2 uses the falling weight energy for ground deformation. The parameters characterizing the ground bearing capacity and compaction are calculated from the acceleration sensor signals by the microprocessor. The loading plates of two different diameters are available to measure the ground of smaller or greater bearing capacity.
The different functional parts of the device are incorporated into one united body. For transport the device is placed into a wooden trunk.
