Line tester OOM-3
OOM-3 blaster’s digital ohmmeter line tester is the right choice when it comes to mining. The hermetically sealed case made of non-conductive plastic, exceeds all NEMA standards and is rated at IP65 under the international standard IEC 65029. This means the ohmmeter case is splash proof, dust proof and spark proof. It can be used safely even in higher risk environments that may contain explosive gasses.
The exact line resistance is displayed on a LCD readout covering the range from 0.1 Ohms right up to 1999 Ohms. The device can be used to measure the resistance of full lines, line sections, or single electric detonators. It uses a very small measuring current (less than 1 mA) which is safe in all situations.
The OOM-3 digital ohmmeter has temperature compensating circuits to facilitate cold weather operation. It is rated for work in temperatures as cold as –15°C (5°F).
Under the front membrane panel is a convenient TEST switch to turn the device on and off. For storage and transport the OOM-3 comes with a special bag that has a loop for fastening it to your belt. It is a small and lightweight unit that is easily transported. This is simply the perfect blaster’s line tester for all wiring configurations and situations.
