Line tester OOM
OOM blaster’s line tester is the right choice when it comes to mining. The hermetically sealed case made of non-conductive plastic, exceeds all NEMA standards and is rated at IP65 under the international standard IEC 65029. This means the line tester case is splash proof, dust proof and spark proof. It can be used safely even in higher risk environments that may contain explosive gasses.
The OOM is the right companion for any blasting machine that is rated to 320 Ohms or higher. The device can be used to check the maximum resistance of full lines, line sections, or single electric detonators. It uses a very small measuring current (less than 4 mA) which is safe in all situations.
The OOM line tester has temperature compensating circuits to facilitate cold weather operation. It is rated for work in temperatures as cold as –15°C (5°F).
Under the front membrane panel is a convenient TEST switch to turn the device on and off. For comfort, the plastic body has a brace to keep the device safely in your pocket. It is a small and lightweight unit that is easily transported.
