PAKRI
The radiation measurement device PAKRI is a device for the detection of total Beta- and Gamma- radiation.
The device has long handle what enables the operator to control the radiation level from distance, e.g. to examine the train carriages, trailers, cars, etc.
PAKRI comprises the radiation detector, the electronic unit and the pulled-up handle. The handle has the basic and 3 additional sections and may be extended up to maximum length of 4 m. The electronic unit is fastened to the 1.2 m long basic handle. The radiation detector is fastened to the top of the last section of the handle and is connected to the electronic unit by long cable.
The reading on the LCD shows the level of the total radiation. In parallel the device has also the sound signal giving the operator the possibility to evaluate the radiation level by its freaquency. For safe transport the radiation measurement device PAKRI is placed into the wooden trunk.
