Radiation indicator RADON-2

Indicator RADON-2The radiation indicator RADON-2 is a stationary device for the detection of  α-, β- and γ-radiation. The indicator registers only the radon caused by α-radiation.

The radiation indicator is fixed to the wall in the rooms where the radiation level is controlled. It may be fixed also to the suitable place in the vehicles  used for the transport of dangerous materials or passing the areas of higher radiation level. The indicator has a relay output. At passing the radiation alarm level the relay contact will close and the indicator may immediately signal about the danger, switch on the ventilation system in case of a radon danger etc.

The level of the radiation is indicated by the frequency of the sound signal and the colour of the signal lamps on the front panel of the device. If the radiation level is low the light signal is green. At moderate radiation level the yellow signal lamp lights up. At higher than alarm radiation level the red lamp lights up and the relay contact will close.
