Radiation detecting system SPECTATOR & SOLO-1
The radiation detecting system consists of display module SPECTATOR and one or several β-, γ-radiation sensor modules SOLO-1.
The system can be used in vehicles, which are transporting dangerous materials or which are passing the areas of possible higher radiation level. If display module is connected with network of sensor modules installed into suitable locations in the territory and mounted stationary, the system enables to perform the area monitoring. Sensors connected into series can be located up to 1 km away from display, which enables the mounting of display into suitable place.
The backlighted graphic display module SPECTATOR can be connected with computer via USB. The power supply is available either from USB, vehicle battery, other external battery or AC-DC adapter. The radiation level is continuously monitored on LCD display. The sensors SOLO-1 are very sensitive and therefore the device is reacting to the changes of radiation level maximally fast. Reaching the radiation level above the user assigned alarm level is followed by the buzzer alarm what may simultaneously be used to switch the external relays. The display module enables to customize data displaying options, to change measuring modes and automatic data recording with accurate date and time.
