The radiation indicator SIGNAL-2 is a stationary device for the detection of β- and γ-radiation.
The indicator contains the radiation detector and the electronic unit connected with the detector by the 6 m long cable. The detector is placed to the suitable place outside the house, in the cellar or well, in the vehicle etc. where the radiation level is controlled. The electronic unit is fixed to the wall somewhere in the room, in the vehicle cabin etc. comfortable to the operator.
The indicator has a relay output. At passing the radiation alarm level the relay contact will close and the indicator may immediately signal about the danger. The detection of radiation is followed either by sound signals or by the light signals on the front panel of the electronic unit.
