MINION-1 is a handheld metal detector used for highly accurate search of persons and hand luggage in airports, ports, entrances of different venues, factories etc. It can also be used for precise positioning of cables, wires and pipes in walls and concrete, or to search for metal objects lost in sand and other materials.

MINION-1 has two built-in sensitivity ranges. It automatically adjusts the "zero" range to accurately detect different types of magnetic and non-magnetic metals.

The metal detector includes an integrated loudspeaker, a socket for headphones and two-color LED. Green LED and audio signal will alert the user when a metal object is detected. Red LED is used to indicate when the battery is low.

MINION-1 comes with a convenient wrist strap for handling.

All Englo’s metal detectors are rated IP65 under the international IEC 60529 standard and are moisture and dust proof.
