Privacy Policy

*Last updated: 10 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Englo OÜ (hereinafter “Englo”, “we”) processes personal data when you use the website englo.eu or contact us through other channels. The Policy is based on Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR) and the Estonian Personal Data Protection Act.

1. Data controller

Englo OÜ

Registrikood: 10058733

Address: Akadeemia tee 21/1, 12618 Tallinn, Estonia

Phone: +372 670 2444

E-mail: info@englo.ee

For data protection matters, you can contact us by e-mail at info@englo.ee.

2. What data we collect and for what purpose

a) Quote request / contact form. If you fill in a quote request or contact form on the website, we collect your name, e-mail address, telephone number (if provided), company name (if provided) and the content of the form. Purpose: business development, responding to your enquiry and preparing an offer.
b) Newsletter subscription. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your e-mail address. Purpose: carrying out various marketing activities, including sending information about Englo’s products and news.
c) Cookies and web analytics. Our website platform, Wix, collects statistics about the use of the website (e.g. pages visited, number of visits, session duration) by means of the platform’s own necessary cookies and technical logs; we do not use separate analytics cookies. In addition, we use the LinkedIn Insight Tag to measure the performance of our LinkedIn advertising campaigns and to create retargeting audiences — it is activated only after you have given your consent in the cookie banner (see section 6 for details).
d) Customer testimonials. Where we have published your name, job title and quotation on the website as a customer testimonial, this is based on the consent you have given.
e) Sale of goods to private customers. If a private individual orders goods from us and pays for them directly by bank transfer to our bank account, the transaction details show us their name, bank account number (IBAN) and the payment description — we do not use a separate payment service provider. To deliver the goods, we use the delivery address provided by the customer and pass it on to the courier service (DPD, DHL). The transaction data are retained on the sales invoice, which we keep pursuant to the obligation arising from the Estonian Accounting Act (see section 7).

4. To whom we transfer data

We use trusted processors:
•    Wix.com Ltd. — website hosting, technical platform and the platform’s built-in website statistics; the processing of data is necessary for the operation of the website and for collecting website usage statistics
•    LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company — LinkedIn Insight Tag: measuring the performance of advertising campaigns and creating retargeting audiences. In respect of the data collected via the Insight Tag, LinkedIn acts as a joint controller in accordance with the joint controllership agreement concluded between LinkedIn and us.
•    Usercentrics GmbH — cookie consent management platform (Usercentrics for Wix): collecting, storing and evidencing visitors’ consent choices
•    Fast Simon Inc. (Site Search / InstantSearch+) — website search function: processing visitors’ search queries in order to display search results
•    Accounting software EEVA — for managing invoices and payments
•    DPD — personal data are transferred for the delivery of goods to the buyer
•    DHL — personal data are transferred for the delivery of goods to the buyer
These companies process data only on our behalf and in accordance with our instructions. The list of processors may be supplemented over time.

5.  Transfers of data outside the European Union / EEA

Wix and LinkedIn (part of the Microsoft group) may also process data outside the European Union/EEA, including in the USA. In such cases we rely on safeguards recognised by the European Commission — an applicable adequacy decision (e.g. the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, where the service provider is certified under it) and/or standard contractual clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission. We monitor legal developments in this area and update the safeguards as necessary.

6. Cookies

A “cookie” is a small text file that a web server sends to the user’s web browser and which asks for permission to be stored on the hard drive. Once the user has given consent to the storing of a cookie, the file is saved on the user’s hard drive, after which the cookie helps to analyse web traffic. Cookies allow web applications to respond to the user as an individual, tailoring their operations to the user’s needs and preferences.
•    Necessary cookies — required to ensure the basic functions, security and stability of the website. These do not require consent. Main cookies: XSRF-TOKEN, hs and server-session-bind (security cookies, valid until the end of the session), svSession (security and basic site functions, validity up to 12 months), bSession (measuring system performance, validity up to 24 hours). On the basis of these cookies and technical logs, our website platform Wix also compiles usage statistics.
•    Marketing cookies (LinkedIn Insight Tag) — enable us to measure the performance of our LinkedIn advertisements and to show relevant advertisements on LinkedIn to visitors of our website (retargeting). Loaded only after consent has been given in the cookie banner. Main cookies: bcookie and li_gc (validity up to 6 months), li_sugr (up to 3 months), UserMatchHistory and AnalyticsSyncHistory (up to 30 days).

Cookie consent on our website is managed by the Usercentrics consent management platform. Marketing cookies are activated only if you have given the corresponding consent in the banner.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie preferences icon (privacy trigger) at the bottom of the page. Withdrawing your consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
How long are cookies stored?

The lifetime of a cookie is calculated from your most recent visit to the website. When the lifetime of a cookie expires, it is deleted automatically.
How to delete and refuse cookies? You may at any time refuse all cookies, or third-party cookies only, by changing the settings of your device’s web browser. The location of these settings depends on the browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.); you will usually find it in the security and privacy section. If you refuse cookies, not all functions of the website may work. If you use several web browsers, the cookies must be deleted in each of them separately.
Further information on opting out of LinkedIn cookies and ad personalisation is available in LinkedIn’s Cookie Policy and in the advertising settings of your LinkedIn account. Additional information about cookies: https://www.aboutcookies.org/

7. Retention

•    Quote request / contact form data: up to 3 years from the last contact, unless a longer contractual relationship arises
•    Newsletter e-mail addresses: until the subscription is cancelled
•    Website statistics: collected via the Wix platform cookies in accordance with their period of validity (see section 6)
•    Data collected via marketing cookies (LinkedIn Insight Tag): according to the cookie lifetimes (see section 6); LinkedIn retargeting audiences are retained on the LinkedIn platform for up to 180 days
•    Accounting records (incl. sales invoices): seven years, in accordance with the requirements of the Estonian Accounting Act

8. Your rights

You have the right to:
•    access your personal data;
•    request the rectification of inaccurate data;
•    request the erasure of your data;
•    request the restriction of processing;
