INSPECTOR-7 Compact Light Weight Deflectometer LWD

INSPECTOR-7 is a portable falling weight deflectometer (LWD) for measuring the ground elastic modulus, maximum deformation, compaction factor, elastic deflection and deformation time. It is ideal for testing in regular or difficult to access areas. 

INSPECTOR-7's weight can be raised up without lifting the whole device. This speeds up the measurement process and ensures that the device remains in exactly the same place during successive tests. The device has a handle on the side to lift the weight.

INSPECTOR-7 has a built-in GPS module.

The deflectometer can be used in design, construction, maintenance and quality control of buildings, subdivisions, roads, railways and other environments to measure elastic modulus of unbound or partially bound material, including asphalt, granular aggregation base, base layers, soil, concrete etc.

INSPECTOR-7 is portable, compact and can easily be used by a single operator. The device’s intelligent built-in electronic unit calculates and displays the results immediately after the series of measurements is completed. All measured data is stored and can be downloaded to a computer via USB or Bluetooth connection. The results can also be read to the user’s mobile phone and forwarded via e-mail to off-site staff for real-time verification against expected results. 

A built-in GPS unit determines and stores the location of the measurement, which can later be graphically displayed in Google Maps or Google Earth. INSPECTOR-7 electronics are rated IP65 under the IEC 60529 standard and are rain/dust proof.
