DLA-1 Drone Initiator
Drone initiator DLA-1 is designed to initiate electric detonators on command from drone flight controller or autopilot. The initiator connects to the drone using MAVLink, UAVCAN/DroneCAN communication interfaces or PWM signal. The flight controller sends commands to arm, fire or disarm the initiator. The initiator reports its status periodically to the flight controller.
DLA-1 includes safety features to avoid unintentional initiation when connecting the detonators and setting up the drone for flight. The initiator can be configured by the user to change its functionality and to set up the initiator for different types of drones.
DLA-1 has self-destruct and self-disarm features to avoid the drone being captured by enemy forces or causing a threat to civilians in case of drone malfunction. The self-destruct functions are only active when the initiator is armed.
